Meet Karly!

Executive Producer. Creative Consultant. Talent & brand direction.

You’re talented. You know it… even if you can’t admit that out loud, or it sometimes gets shrouded in self doubt due to ‘life’.

Speaking of life… it’s kinda had it’s way with you.

You had built something: a platform, a following, a career. You’re no beginner. You have a voice, a point of view, a body of work that means something.

Then a big career shift, a redundancy, or a huge life curve ball made it difficult to keep your head above water…. and now things feel scattered, or stuck, or like you’re performing this old version of you that doesn’t quite fit now (or perhaps that no longer exists).

You’re spinning your wheels… There’s this whole life of experience inside you, but it’s just not coming out or landing in the way you know it could.

What you need is someone who can sit in the mess and help you find the gold.

That’s what I do.

I’m Karly Nimmo.

I’ve always been a permission giver, before it was a ‘thing’. People often leave our first conversation remembering something they’d stopped allowing themselves to want. I see the thing and I’ll help you own it AND get you on a clear path towards it.

I have great instincts for content and for people. I can read what drives someone, what holds them back. and what they are actually capable of. But more than that, I know how to get them there… to that place that maybe they haven’t even fully owned they want to be.

Most recently I drove Darling, Shine! past 11 million downloads across 3 years at LiSTNR, where I also produced the content that took It’s a Lot with Abbie Chatfield to No. 4 in the Triton national podcast ranker. Since I wrapped at LiSTNR at the end of 2025, I’ve launched two podcasts with Heidi AI, directed and produced Blue Eyed Kayla Jade’s audiobook for Simon & Schuster, and I am working across content and campaigns with some of the countries most recognisable influencers and social media creators…. and that’s just in 2026 alone (and it’s only April).

Before all that, there has been 30+ years of radio, voice over, agency ownership, photography, coaching, podcast producing, keynote speaking, and my own podcast Karlosophies, which hit No. 1 on iTunes in 2015 and is still running today (along with 4 others that also hit no 1 - including Keeping Good Company and Make Some Noise).

All these years working in and around media and content, both behind the scenes and behind the mic, means I’m not just a person who has worked in marketing in a corporate and gone freelance… I’ve got actual skin in the game.

I’ve seen what performs and what doesn’t… what connects and what doesn’t quite hit the mark.

Not only have I built my own brands, I’ve been the voice of some of the biggest brands in the country (like Telstra, Uber, Coles, Lion and ANZ), and I’ve helped to shape the narrative of some of the most influential voices in the country.

And I’ve loved every minute of it. But the work I keep coming back to is sitting with someone who has something real and impactful to say, and helping them find the nerve to say it.

Your voice. My ear.

  • I've been fortunate enough to attend a retreat run by Karly. The experience is unique. Karly offers great fun and a natural warmth that makes people feel instantly at ease. She's so easy to talk to, I've told her things I've not ever told anyone before. And there's no pressure. Who what and where ever you are is totally fine when you're with a group run by Karly. Karly has a knack for bringing out the best in people, for gently allowing them to realise their potential, and any blocks that could be subconsciously standing between them and their dreams. It's hard to put into words how she does this - it's a magic that you'll just have to discover for yourself. Trust in Karly, she's the real deal.

  • I’ve had the super pleasure of working with Karly Nimmo for the past 2 years. Initially I decided to work with her because of her experience ‘doing and achieving’ the things I want to do myself. What I rapidly discovered is that Karly brings SO MUCH MORE THAN THAT! Whilst she draws on her own experience personally and professionally she also draws on something much deeper – a highly developed intuition and gift for seeing and feeling beyond all the ‘doing’. Working with Karly allowed me to become much freer with who I was and am being, freer to play, to rest, and to trust my instinct as I continued to grow my business. Far more than a coach or consultant, Karly is an artist who uses her gifts to help you discover and share yours. She also says the F word a lot.

  • There's a lot of hot air in business and plenty of talk about mammoth success, but very little real life background stories about the people behind the myths. I love Karly's approach to speaking openly and honestly - and inviting her guests to do the same - on failures and set-backs in business and how to keep on keeping on.
