Meet Karly!

conductor of creative chaos.

Executive Producer. Creative Consultant. Dedicated advocate for human creativity.

You’re talented, capable and have potential… but for some reason you just keep spinning your wheels.

There’s this thing you’ve always wanted to create/do… a blog, book, podcast, youtube channel, live show. But you keep procrastinating on starting it, finishing it, or it’s gathering dust waiting for you to share it with the world.

You might be established and no stranger to being visible. Perhaps you’ve had a long career in the public eye and experienced success, then life threw you a curve ball, and now you need to pivot. In which direction will you head? There’s no shortage of ideas or things you could do, but where do you start?

Or you’ve been hiding behind life, but have this desire to share your voice with the world… by starting that substack, or creating content on social media, but you’re paralysed by fear or overwhelm. Unsure on what your next move is, and how you’ll take it… because it all just feels too big.

Perhaps you’re an organisation with a big creative project on the cards, and you know it’s never going to get off the ground, unless you bring in the big guns to keep things on track and moving.

Unrealised potential and talent breaks my heart. And I see it everywhere.

Talent that is living inside amazing people, without an outlet of expression.

People who I know could do incredible things, if they weren’t:

  • in a loop of procrastination due to overwhelm and stuck in decision paralysis

  • lacking belief in their talent and developed such a lack of confidence that they no longer trust themselves or their creative genius

  • chronically overcomplicating things

  • trying to do it all alone

That’s where I come in.

I’m Karly Nimmo. Media Professional of 30 years. Permission giver. Potential realiser. Dedicated advocate for human creativity.

If anyone can get you realising your talent and sharing your gifts with the world, it’s me.

You don’t spend this long producing talent, without great instincts and an ability to get the best out of people. I can read what drives you, what holds you back, and what hurdles are between you and your dreams. But beyond that, there’s nothing I want more, than for you to have the success you deserve.

As someone who has been both behind the scenes, and behind the mic, I’ve got actual skin in the game. Almost 30 years of building brands and businesses. I’ve been the voice of some of the biggest brands in the country (like Telstra, Uber, Coles, Lion and ANZ), and I’ve helped to shape the narrative of some of the most influential voices in the country.

I’m the producer the kingpins call in when they need the best in the biz…

  • Whether it’s Australia’s fastest growing AI company, who have a 6 week deadline to record two big podcast projects, and nothing but a loose outline.

  • Or a large network, used to working with talent in studio and on a regular roster, who now need to record remotely with talent who spend 9 months of the year outside the country (let alone the studio).

  • Or a big book publisher, who needs to urgently find someone to record and direct a new author, who has no voice over experience, in their own house.

If I can successfully deliver for these guys, imagine what you could do with a world class producer in your corner. Imagine what we could create together.

And I say together because this really is a collaboration. I see myself as a conductor of creative chaos.

I’m the Mark Ronson to your Amy Winehouse. The Quincy Jones to your Michael Jackson. The Rick Rubin to … well, the list is too long.

The TLDR of my last few years:

Most recently, I drove Darling, Shine! past 11 million downloads across 3 years at LiSTNR, where I also produced the content that took It’s a Lot with Abbie Chatfield to No. 4 in the Triton national podcast ranker.

Since I wrapped at LiSTNR at the end of 2025, I’ve launched two podcasts with Heidi AI, directed and produced Blue Eyed Kayla Jade’s audiobook for Simon & Schuster. And I am working across content and campaigns with some of the country's most recognisable influencers and social media creators…. and that’s just in 2026 alone (and it’s only April).

Before all that, there was 30+ years of radio, voice over, agency ownership, photography, coaching, podcast producing, keynote speaking, and my own podcast Karlosophies, which hit No. 1 on iTunes in 2015 and is still running today (along with 4 others that also hit no 1 - including Keeping Good Company and Make Some Noise).

You don’t spend this long producing incredible talent, without great instincts and an ability to get the best out of people. I can read what drives people, what holds them back, and what they are capable of… But beyond that, I know what it takes to get where you want to go, and I want nothing more than to make that happen with you.

All these years working in and around media and content, both behind the scenes and behind the mic, means I’m not just a person who has worked in marketing in a corporate and gone freelance… I’ve got actual skin in the game.

I’ve seen what performs and what doesn’t… what connects and what doesn’t quite hit the mark.

I’ve loved every minute of it. But the work I keep coming back to is sitting with someone who has something real and impactful to create, and helping them find the clarity the need to move forward, ground their creativity in action, and give them the courage to back themselves, create it, and share it with the world.

Your creativity. My ear and instincts. Together: We make magic.

  • I've been fortunate enough to attend a retreat run by Karly. The experience is unique. Karly offers great fun and a natural warmth that makes people feel instantly at ease. She's so easy to talk to, I've told her things I've not ever told anyone before. And there's no pressure. Who what and where ever you are is totally fine when you're with a group run by Karly. Karly has a knack for bringing out the best in people, for gently allowing them to realise their potential, and any blocks that could be subconsciously standing between them and their dreams. It's hard to put into words how she does this - it's a magic that you'll just have to discover for yourself. Trust in Karly, she's the real deal.

  • I’ve had the super pleasure of working with Karly Nimmo for the past 2 years. Initially I decided to work with her because of her experience ‘doing and achieving’ the things I want to do myself. What I rapidly discovered is that Karly brings SO MUCH MORE THAN THAT! Whilst she draws on her own experience personally and professionally she also draws on something much deeper – a highly developed intuition and gift for seeing and feeling beyond all the ‘doing’. Working with Karly allowed me to become much freer with who I was and am being, freer to play, to rest, and to trust my instinct as I continued to grow my business. Far more than a coach or consultant, Karly is an artist who uses her gifts to help you discover and share yours. She also says the F word a lot.

  • There's a lot of hot air in business and plenty of talk about mammoth success, but very little real life background stories about the people behind the myths. I love Karly's approach to speaking openly and honestly - and inviting her guests to do the same - on failures and set-backs in business and how to keep on keeping on.

  • A great podcast that inspires and gets the creative juices flowing! It inspires everyone to want more out of life, as well as being progressive in business careers. Keep up the great works!
